Beomaster 1001 was to Beomaster 1200, as Beomaster 1100 was to Beomaster 901. But first impressions can be deceiving!

Beomaster 1100 was actually more similar to the excellent Beolab 1700 and Beomaster 1700 combined in one beautifully-finished cabinet. The radio section however, was just an FM-only affair but was able to store four preset radio stations so that they could be summoned easily by push-button. Jacob Jensen’s ’slide rule’ tuning scale was used once more, and AFC held on to weaker FM radio stations giving the clarity that one would expect from Bang & Olufsen tuners.

Delivering  2 x 22 W into 4 ohm speakers, there were connections for a record deck, tape/cassette recorder and a pair of headphones.  Two pairs of speakers could be used if desired.

Beomaster 1100 was known as Beosystem 1100 (shown below) when used with other Bang & Olufsen-compatible hi-fi products.
