BeoLink Passive was a very useful piece of kit in that it was actually a 2×30W stereo power amplifier as well as a MasterLink terminal.  Developed from the MCL2P the unit looked similar but included a few new ideas when used within a MasterLink system.

The kit allowed the use of a pair of separate passive loudspeakers in a different ‘link room’.  So the user could have a main hi-fi in one room and be able to control a separate pair of speakers elsewhere in the house thus saving the purchase of an additional hi-fi system.

BeoLink Passive allowed for:

  • Timer on / off
  • Volume up / down
  • Play / Stand-by
