Beovox S120
The Beovox S120 was the largest of the latter type range of ‘S’ Uniphase loudspeakers from Bang & Olufsen and could handle up to 120 watts RMS although a built-in specially designed protection circuit to safeguard against overload.
Its 3-way speaker system comprised a good-sized 205 mm woofer, a mid-range driver of 75mm and a 25mm tweeter. The speaker was designed to stand on the floor using its own special stand although could be incorporated within a shelving system despite its relatively larger proportions. The optional stand (Type 6017) was available for all three of the Beovox S50, S80 and S120 models.
Connection was via a 2-pin DIN plug. A choice of finishes was made available including oak and white.
The speaker was replaced by the Beovox MC120.2

Beovox MC120.2
Replacing the Beovox S120, this new loudspeaker was almost a carbon copy of its former self; the fitting of wiring posts in addition to the DIN plug was the only difference.
