An excellent-quality 22″colour TV receiver, the Beovision 7100 was a more economical version of the Beovision 7700. Accordingly it was not fitted with the same facilities as its bigger brother. However, it still used the same 30AX in-line self-converging picture tube.
Its amplifier delivered 6 watts of full-range sound through its 5cm and 13cm loudspeakers system. However, cutbacks were made with its other refinements in that no headphone socket, no on-screen indicator and no Automatic Contrast Control was included.
Equally only eight pre-set programme selectors were available.
It had optional Teletext, though (as well as the A/V connection set), and used the same Video Terminal as its more refined brother.
The set came delivered with its own easy-gliding undercarriage
Beovision 7100 was replaced by Beovision 7102 at the end of its three year availability.
