BeoTalk 400 was manufactured especially for the Danish and Swedish market and displayed the telephone number of incoming telephone calls. It could also memorise the last forty incoming numbers which were stored in the phone’s memory together with their date and time.
An LCD indicator displayed just when the telephone line was busy and another indicator showed unanswered calls awaiting the user’s attention.
There was also a facility for listening-in to calls and the unit could either be used on a table-top or mounted on to a wall.
At the end of its life BeoTalk 400 was replaced by the BeoTalk 1100.
