The BeoPlayer app, available via iTunes, puts music browsing, thousands of Internet radio stations and an advanced alarm clock right into one’s pocket. The free version gives the user twenty radio stations from which to choose with the option to upgrade to more than 13.000 Internet radio stations from around the planet. As well as offering advanced scheduling options, the alarm clock gives the user a choice between a gentle chime or waking to the sound of music.
The BeoPlayer app transforms the look and experience of an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to match a Bang & Olufsen system. When docked to BeoSound 8, the BeoPlayer app adds Internet radio and an elegant and colourful clock design from the BeoCom 5 to the device. The user may even customise the colour of the clock to match the front fabric of the speakers.
