Waking up to Style
Wednesday, 15th December, 2010As announced by BeoPhile.com on 15 November 2010 the new BeoPlayer app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch is now available for download from iTunes to be used in conjunction with the BeoSound 8.
The free app changes the look, feel & experience of the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to match the user’s Bang & Olufsen system. When docked in BeoSound 8, the BeoPlayer application adds Internet radio and a BeoCom 5 clock design to the device allowing one to wake up to a gentle chime or a preferred Internet radio station. A sleep timer is also included.
Among the current free Internet radio stations which may be used on the BeoPlayer app, include the following:
- Denmark: Radio100 Soft, Radio 100FM
- France: Inter, Info, RTL
- Germany: SWR3, Klassik Radio, Antenne Bayern
- Great Britain: Cool FM, Absolute Radio, Absolute Radio, Classic Rock
- Italy: Kiss Kiss Napoli
- Netherlands: AVRO Steenen Tijdperk Fifties, AVRO Baroque around the Clock
- Spain: Latino FM
- Switzerland: Radio Svizzera Classica
- USA: Digitally Imported Chillout, 977 The Hitz, Soma FM Groove Salad, Afterhours DJs
